This is what learnt the week of Sept. 16, 2019

Restricting webcontent only to users who own it.

I am using Django to build a SaaS and was stuck on the best way to hide data from users expect the owner of such data. There are a couple ways to do that rangin from creating a whole separate database, to simply “filtering” out the un-owned data. I chose to to do the last one since it is the simplest and most effective. Should totally write a post about that.

Making khinkali is not hard

Even though the result was not perfect, the process is very simple.
1. Make the dough (flour, water, salt) - a lot of kneading
2. Make the minced meat mixture (minced meat {beef and pork}, water, salt, parsley, cilantro, onion and garlic)
3. Make a pouch and boil
That’s about it.

I want my professional life to be around coding and coooking

I realized I love making things from scratch. I also love to keep those things as minimal as possible, removing anything that add little to no value. Hopefully, I will figure out how to make good money from that.

I can simultaneously record my screen and use the FaceTime camera

I will use screenflow program (Mac) to record my first tutorial/stream of coding

Using Django Rest Framework

I like to try ne things ,and it might be in a bad way

Recently built a personal website and was kind of happy with it. Now I want to rebuild in in Vue, just to learn Vue. But! Thankfully is a task I don’t have enough time to learn. Will certainly come back to it in the future. Meanwhile I will just continue with Django.
